Organic Salad Recipe for ADD/ADHD
18. September 2008 by Shirley.
A great salad before dinner and lunch is this quick spinach and strawberry receipe that will only take you mins to whip up in your kitchen. It’s unbelieveable great for you!! And it taste yummy as well! You are going to pre-mix your salad dressing in an 16oz container.
Fill 8oz with Braggs Organic Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar (Winn Dixie & Publix)
Add 1/4 tsp of a natural sweetener Stevia (http://www.nunaturals.com/products/stevia.html )
Mix up stevia and apple cider together. After it is mixed up, pour 8oz of Cold Pressed Organic Extra Olive oil (Health Food Store) into the container. This is an absolutely healthy and a tasty salad dressing! Just shake this container together when you are ready and pour on your salad. You can store in refrigerator or not.
In a bowel mix up fresh organic spinach (Sam’s, Wal-Mart, Publix), sprinkle some walnuts or almonds (high in omegas), and sliced organic strawberries (Winn Dixie and Publix). The apple cider vinegar combined with the strawberries makes this salad so delicious. I love to sprinkle diced organic red onions on top of my salad.
Benefits Of Unfiltered Unpasteurized Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
1. It’s rich in minerals, vitamins, antioxidants, enzymes, amino acids, propionic acid, and apple pectin (contains both soluble and insoluble fiber).
2. Lowers cholesterol and regulate blood pressure
3. Helps detoxify your liver
4. Helps reduce water retention (bloating)
5. Helps with circulatory problems
6. Helps with increase in concentration and memory (Great for ADD/ADHD)
7. Helps with Arthritis, Asthma, Ulcers, Constipation, Cramps, Weight loss, and much more!!!
8. Has natural antibacterial, anti fungal, and antiseptic properties
*When you take apple cider vinegar before meals, you increase the stomach’s acidity which improves digestion. It also kills harmful bacteria in your digestive tract (this why you take 1 tbsp 20mins before meals).
9. It’s also unusually high in potassium, which is not only great for muscle craps but it helps with concentration and thinking clearer (Great for ADD/ADHD)
Enthusiastically yours,
Shirley Highers
